Expeno Week!
Thursday afternoon, the old hot water system died. It had been making weird exploding noises as we showered.. and with one final explosion - it was gone. Set us back nearly $800 to get replaced. But one cold shower was enough for me, I was willing to pay the expense to get it up and running ASAP!
So, the new system was installed on Friday. Just so happens that on that very same Friday, I get a call from Zomp to inform that my long awaited boots that have been on order, have arrived! The left leg slipped on nicely, but the right was getting stuck about 3/4 up my calf.. I needed the assistance of three shop girls to help me get the zip done up. But it was worth it. I won't reveal the price of these babies - but I will say that I love them like I would my very own baby.
So... its been an expensive week, but I am one happy and warm (hot showers, even hotter boots) girl!

Love the boots. They aren't too bulky in the calf section which so many boots are which makes most boots unwearable for my skinny bottom legs.
Rounded toe AND flat bottomed - sheesh. I like the gold zip too. Very jealous.
