Market People
Sunday morning, I find myself again rummaging through other people's junk at the Melville Markets.
Some highlights to mention – small boy, younger than 10, has positioned himself strategically close to the sausage sizzle stand. He performs circus tricks with dance music blaring, as onlookers watch and eat their hotdogs. The kid is making a killing, I hope he brings incorporates the hoop next week.
Old Italian man continues to ask $125 for vintage bread tin. When will he drop his price?
Woman walks past Erin and Elle’s stall (yes, Erin & Elle had a stall!) – wearing mirrored, tinted, circular lensed sunnies. The lenses have images of eyeballs printed on them – she appears unaware of this fact and oblivious to our laughter.
