Market People

Sunday morning, I find myself again rummaging through other people's junk at the Melville Markets.

Some highlights to mention – small boy, younger than 10, has positioned himself strategically close to the sausage sizzle stand. He performs circus tricks with dance music blaring, as onlookers watch and eat their hotdogs. The kid is making a killing, I hope he brings incorporates the hoop next week.

Old Italian man continues to ask $125 for vintage bread tin. When will he drop his price?

Woman walks past Erin and Elle’s stall (yes, Erin & Elle had a stall!) – wearing mirrored, tinted, circular lensed sunnies. The lenses have images of eyeballs printed on them – she appears unaware of this fact and oblivious to our laughter.

Phuonglates

Tonight, I begin an 8 session pilates course. Yes, strengthening my inner core ....... thats where its at.

W/end was fun. Friday night, Dannielle and I ended up at Metros Freo and Harbourside - always refreshing to mingle with under-age drinkers. 17, such a tender age.

I'm so excited that we're coming into beach weather!
Aaaaaaaaaah.

Feral

Matt's bday was on the w/end and celebrations took place at the Feral Brewery. It felt like a Trinity school reunion with myself in attendance (yes, I'm a LUCKY girl). Even Jamie Garrick was there (featured right) and somehow managed to make it onto our bus home.

This girl took a liking to Morgan's boyish good-looks, so we got a free trip back to the city. Yes, Morgan, always coming through with the goods.

It was a fun day, and Matt is now 24 :)

Get A Life

This post is for the person that I know checks my blog religiously.
I can't deliver witty updates on a daily basis - so what I suggest is.....GET BACK TO WORK.
ps. Get a hair cut - no wait, don't :)

Asians Represent

Survivor Cook Islands started last night. Tribes are split along racial lines. Controversial? Noooooooo!

All I have to say is Asians Unite.

So, They Won

Within minutes of my arrival at Amy's house to watch the final - my tooth broke. I bit into a piece of salami and the tooth cracked, right on the rooth canal. So that was the highlight of Saturday - and of course, the Eagles won. La di da.
(See left, omg, I just realised - Louise wore blue and yellow)

Other highlights included lying on the beach on Monday and being given extra squid at the Fish and Chip shop. My love of deep fried chicken salt covered foodstuffs continues......

In other news, Basement Jaxx has been announced for Southbound Modest Mouse is also playing - I'm sure I'll be attending this year :) !!!!!!!!
