Seafood at the Seaview

Pretty quiet weeked overall - but Sunday was the definite highlight.
Went out for coffees after a good sleep-in, then onto the Seaview in South Fremantle, for a seafood platter.
Pictured left - mmmm, look at the size of those prawns! Mussels had generous amounts of garlic on them and the serve of calamari was so big, we couldn't finish it.
Topped off with some beers - it was the perfect Sunday pub lunch :)

Another Weekend, Another Quarter Century

Denae's birthday nicely coincided with Spring in the Valley!

So off we trekked to the Swan Valley for beers, wine and dancing in the sun.
First, we visited the Duckstein - then onto Houghtons where we saw out the afternoon.

Long Macchiatos

Well, my obsession with drinking long macchiatos has been with me for quite some time now.

And now J and I have formed a new love for a freo cafe called "Long Macc".

Their brekkies are to die for - complete with caramalised onion. The bread's always thick and the mushrooms and capsicum serves are generous.
